They exposed to us about our tasks which have two different assignments. First of all is individual assignment which is what I am doing right now. It is e-Portfolio. I have to write all of my journey throughout all of the classes in this interim semester. The marks given for individual assignment is 60%. Another 40% is from group assignment.

For group assignment, the lecturers determined our teammates and we have to prepare a creative 10 minutes video about our university. The average of students in a group are seven. The video must have five fascinating places that symbolize our university. We must speak in English in the video and have to upload it on youtube or whatsover and send the link to our lecturers through e-mail. About the content of this video, we have to make an introduction, the delivery of the video must be smooth and the narrator must speak in a clear way. Our lecturers also emphasized image and graphic of the video, creativity and originality, and how far we understand about our tasks.

TAKING LECTURE NOTES

What is note taking?

·         📗 Writing down ideas from lectures and readings in our words.

·         📗 In class, you’re not copying the notes but referencing.

     WHY TAKE NOTES?
💡Helps us to pay attention in class
💡Helps us study for quiz, test or final exam
     💡Helps us improve our memory
💡Helps us take ownership of ideas
     💡Helps us engage our senses

     WHY REVIEW NOTES?
📋 We lose 80% of what we hear if it is not reviewed within a few hours
📋 Identify any questions for peers, the next class or ask the professor
📋 There is not enough time to absorb all the information given in class if it’s not reviewed regular

     WHY “RECAPTURE” NOTES AFTER CLASS?
🌊 Frees you up to write in quick, shorthand during class
🌊 An excellent test-prep strategy for reinforcing information
🌊 Better than re-copying. This time you’re digesting and rephrasing
